Our ASAE Chief Staff Officer and Chief Elected Officer Symposium opening day featured a reception, happy hour and appetizers from our host and sponsor; The Fairmont Washington. Thanks to the Fairmont and our friends at ASAE, we were able to organize a surprise send off for Deb Brawner, our ASAE friend, colleague and meeting manager extraordinaire. Deb is retiring in 2016. Donning our tuxedo tees, we celebrated Deb in fine style with cake, flowers and a well-deserved toast to her work in making our Symposium a seamless, stress-free event over the years. The max-capacity November Symposium offered participants a chance to lay the groundwork for leadership in contemporary organizations, creating confidence in the competence of new partnerships and clarity of roles and responsibilities.
And, we had a lot of fun!
